The Agogues Foundation exists to increase the impact and reach of donor gifts by pooling and directing resources to trusted charity partners—so that a gift benefits many worldwide. We multiply generosity through transparency, stewardship, and strategic partnerships that meet urgent needs and inspire lasting hope.

Founded in 2021, Agogues Foundation (d/b/a Agogues) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 87-1393014). The name Agogues is derived from the Greek word agōgos, meaning “to lead or guide.” It reflects our mission to bring together like-minded donors to address pressing human needs with excellence and compassion.

Executive Leadership 

The Foundation’s vision is shaped by the leadership of Melvin G. Alexander, CPA, FACHE, Chair & CEO, whose career blends professional excellence with mission-driven purpose. With experience in public accounting, corporate finance, healthcare leadership (a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives - FACHE), and international logistics as an officer in the United States Air Force, he brings the same standard of stewardship, excellence, and compassion to advancing generosity through Agogues.
