About Agogues

Who We Are

Founded in 2021, the Agogues Foundation (DBA Agogues) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 87-1393014). From the Greek agōgos — “to lead or drive” — Agogues exists to lead generosity, bringing Christ-centered givers together to address problems within reach.

Our leadership is guided by Melvin Alexander, CPA, President & Board Chair. As a former CFO, Melvin has managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios and budgets. Today, he brings that same standard of excellence in financial stewardship to Kingdom-focused philanthropy.

Our Unity in Christ

The Agogues is not denominationally bound. Instead, we are a fellowship of believers united by Christ-like character and a shared desire to reveal Jesus through acts of mercy. What binds us is not a label or tradition, but the call of Christ to love, to serve, and to give generously.

Agogues functions like a mutual fund for generosity: pooling gifts, vetting ministries, actively monitoring outcomes, and reporting impact. This gives donors confidence their generosity is well-stewarded.
